SHAKESPEARE SOCIETY

The NCH Shakespeare Society aims to help students of all disciplines engage with the works of William Shakespeare in a casual and enjoyable way. We want to challenge the idea that Shakespeare is inaccessible and boring by hosting laid-back read-throughs with drinking games; discussions of particular plays; group outings to watch them in performance, and we hope to put on our own shows in the future! We often give the plays a modern twist, and discuss how Shakespeare is just as relevant today as he was in the 1600s. 

Whether you're a veritable scholar of the Bard or have never even approached his plays before, the NCH Shakespeare Soc is a great way to grow your knowledge and love for these iconic plays.
